OVERWHELMED MINISTRY
Overwhelmed Ministry exists to carry out the good works God Himself has prepared that will reflect His mercy, power, and glory.
We trust in the character of God, the promises of God, and the Word of God for all things.
The man who loves God obeys God. Christ calls His people to serve by bringing our fellow man food, water, clothing, shelter; as well as the very words of Life that will lead him to our Creator and Savior.
The naming of the Ministry was inspired by the lyrics in the song ‘Overwhelmed’ that can be heard via a click in the ‘Resources’ section below.
We pray that our work at Overwhelmed would bless you greatly and that you would live life in the abundance that is found in Christ Jesus.
STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
CALL TO RESPOND
Jesus, the Son of God, suffered and died to pay the price for your sins and mine. - This demands a response in how you and I live our lives.
The Bible is the written Word of God. It tells us Who God is, what He has done, what He will do, and how we are to live.
God, in His grace, has given us every good thing we've ever had, every breath of air we've taken in, and every dollar we've made. The world and every good thing in it was created by Him, is held together by Him, and belongs to Him.
The very reason we are alive is to show the world how great God is through how we invest all that He has given us - be it our abilities, status, money, time, or body.
Jesus commands those who love Him to bear their own cross; suffering for God's sake to tell, to teach, and to serve.
Every man talks about what he feels, thinks, or knows - but ultimately he acts, or fails to act, according to what he truly believed or in Whom he believed.
VERSES TO LIVE BY, GIVE BY, AND DIE FOR
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? - Mark 8:36
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9

I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit, and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God. - Ephesians 3:16-19
