The fool says in his heart, “God does not exist.” They are corrupt; they do vile deeds. There is no one who does good. The Lord looks down from heaven on the human race to see if there is one who is wise, one who seeks God. All have turned away; all alike have become corrupt. There is no one who does good, not even one. – Psalm 14:1-3
The once broken and now re-made saint, knows very well he too was once corrupt, doing nothing good and beyond redemption. A disgrace to God, a fool with a big mouth, a hero to his fellow sinners.
In God’s grace, at God’s expense, through God’s suffering is what transforms a man from
corrupt to righteous.
No apology, remorse, guilt, sorrow, good works, or payouts to charity can meet the highest price to reconcile a man’s life and save his soul.
Only by God’s plan, for His gory, and through His work on the cross has Jesus paid the ransom to make us right.
Contemplate the mercy, the preparation, and the ocean-filling greatness of our God.
For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is God’s gift – not from works so that no man can boast – Ephesians 2:8
