By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family. By faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. – Hebrews 11:7
Noah lived by faith. He is a great godly example to us today.
In a world overflowing with big tough-guy talkers, gossips, self-promoters, and online trolls we see what it is to be a godly man.
The godly man is wise. The godly man acts.
In mercy, God warned of the wrath to come - and Noah acted.
In mercy, God has warned us of the wrath to come – will we act?
The godly man lives by faith. Faith is not an ephemeral, immeasurable idea or concept for philosophers. Faith is hard evidence of things unseen. Faith is proven by works.
Noah used his hands, his talents, his energy, and his time to act and live out his faith. The men around him wasted their lives in sin and in contempt of God and Noah.
As Scripture tells us in Ecclesiastes 1:9: 'What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun.'
For throughout history, we see that godly men act – and are delivered.
For throughout history, we see sinful men sneer - and are drowned in sin and ash.
A storm of Great Judgement is coming. Are you ready?
Live out your faith with your hands, time, and talent my friends.
Noah then, and the faithful today, are delivered heirs to the Lord of Righteousness.
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness. – Jeremiah 23:6
